Abstract:
An apparatus for wireless power transmission and an operation method therefor according to the present invention compare immediately preceding received signal strengths according to immediately preceding selected phase groups with a predetermined reference received signal strength; select one of the phase groups as a current phase group on the basis of the comparison result and the number of link connections; adjust the phase of radio frequency (RF) power by means of a plurality of phase adjusters, each receiving the RF power, on the basis of a corresponding transmit phase included in the current phase group; and transmit the phase adjusted RF power to the wireless power receiving device by means of a plurality of antennas receiving the phase adjusted RF power from each of the plurality of phase adjusters. Accordingly, it is possible to maximize wireless power transmission efficiency over a space where a wireless power receiving apparatus is located.
