Abstract:
Provided are an appearance inspection device which is capable of improving inspection efficiency and inspection accuracy, and a blister packaging machine. This appearance inspection device 22 is provided with an inspection mechanism 51 which inspects the appearance of tablets from above a container film. The appearance inspection device is configured so as to be capable of inspecting the appearance of side surfaces of the plurality of tablets. The inspection mechanism 51 is provided with an illumination device 60, and first to sixth cameras 61-66. Camera 61 or the like is provided with an imaging element, and a lens unit formed from a bilateral telecentric optical system, and is set with respect to the plurality of tablets on the container film positioned in a prescribed inspection area such that a light receiving surface of the imaging element and a main surface of the lens unit satisfy shine proofing conditions.
