Abstract:
Disclosed are an application download source detection method and apparatus, which relate to the field of information processing technology and which solve the existing problem of monitoring of the launch of an application being possible only if the application is installed on a terminal device, and it being impossible to monitor the source of the download of the application if same is not installed. The method of the present invention comprises: receiving and parsing an application download request; adding to a preset storage location the identification information of a webpage; loading the application according to the identification information of the application; when the application is launched, calling a preset function to extract from the preset storage location the identification information of the webpage and output same. The present invention is suitable for monitoring the source of a download of an application.
