Title:
APPLICATION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY COMPOSITE MATERIALS AS PAPER-BASED FLAT SHEETS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/104263
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a paper-based flat sheet comprised of environmentally-friendly composite materials which emit a large amount of far infrared rays and anions, as a substitute for polycarbonate used for credit cards, transportation cards, cash cards and other payment cards; student ID cards, membership cards, certificates, registration cards, driver's licenses and other identification cards; computers, mobile devices or CDs used for digital imaging devices; and for glass or polymer-based sheets used as internal core materials in DVDs or as covers for portable memory chips, and to a manufacturing method for such sheets. More specifically, the present invention relates to composite material sheet manufacturing method which lowers unit price by simplifying the process, and provide high-density sheets by application of illite and dispersant, excellent waterproof and recoverable properties through high-strength, facilitate screen printing, emit anions and far infrared rays that are beneficial to the human body, a product which is easily and fully decomposable when discarded, lightweight, saves import costs by replacing polymer-based raw materials that are heavily dependent on imports, and play a patriotic role by introducing the use of traditional Korean paper.
