Abstract:
An application freezing method and apparatus, and a terminal. The method comprises: detecting whether an application freezing function has already been started (S101); if the application freezing function has already been started, further detecting whether a target application exists, wherein the target application is an application infected with a virus and/or a trojan, and the virus and/or the trojan cannot be removed (S102); and if the target application exists, freezing the target application (S103), wherein freezing the target application comprises forbidding read-write permission and communication permission of the application infected with the non-removable virus and/or trojan on a terminal. The method protects the data security of a user, avoids harm to the user, provides the user with a solution to rapidly deal with an application infected with an non-removable virus and/or trojan, and provides the user with a safer use environment at the same time, thereby improving the user experience.
