Abstract:
The present application provides an application icon display method and a related apparatus, which are beneficial for a user to visually know the importing progress of an application and for the improvement of the display effect of an application icon during data migration. The method comprises: when a first terminal device receives migration data sent by a second terminal device, the first terminal device displays a first interface; when the first terminal device finishes receiving the migration data, the first terminal device starts importing the migration data; in the process of the first terminal device importing the migration data, the first terminal device displays a second interface, the second interface comprising a first control; in response to an operation of a user for selecting the first control, the first terminal device displays a first desktop, the first desktop comprising a first icon of a first application and a first importing progress of the first application, and the icon state of the first application being a first state; and when the importing progress of the first application changes, the first terminal device updates, in the first desktop, the icon state of the first application to a second state.
