Abstract:

The present application relates to the field of terminals, and provides an application icon display method and a terminal, solving the problems that when the terminal comprises cloned applications of multiple applications, application icons on a main screen of the terminal are increased, and thus the space of the main screen is occupied, and moreover, the condition that there are the cloned applications is exposed. The specific solution is applied to the terminal comprising at least two applications, and the at least two applications comprise a first application and a cloned application of the first application; the terminal displays a first screen comprising the icon of the first application, and the icon of the cloned application of the first application is hidden; the terminal receives a first operation of a user on the icon of the first application; in response to the first operation, the terminal displays the hidden icon of the cloned application of the first application, the icon of the cloned application of the first application and the icon of the first application are displayed on the first screen at the same time, and the first screen is comprised in the main screen of the terminal.
