Abstract:
The invention discloses application of a naphthalene sulfonamide compound in adjusting plant growth activity. The invention claims application of at least one of the compounds having Formulae I through VI in adjusting plant growth activity and/or weed-killing. The invention also claims a plant growth activity regulator and a herbicide containing at least one of the compounds having Formulae I through VI. The plant growth activity is adjusted to enhance at least one of cold tolerance, drought tolerance, salt tolerance and high-temperature tolerance of plants. The plant growth activity regulator is used to enhance at least one of cold tolerance, drought tolerance, salt tolerance and high-temperature tolerance of plants. The naphthalene sulfonamide compound provided by the invention has favorable plant growth regulation activity, enhances cold tolerance, drought tolerance, salt tolerance and high temperature tolerance of plants, and has excellent weed-killing activity and important application value.
