Application of packaging components consisting of trays (1) or pallets, which are used as insert, when bottles (2) or cans are stacked, for manufacturing products which can fully or partially enclose a volume or forms growth base for plants.

Application of packaging components according to claim 1 for fascines (15).

Method for manufacturing products, which can fully or partially enclose a volume or forms growth base for plants according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that two or more packaging components are assembled with mechanical assembly devices (4,5,12)

Description:
Application of packaging components for manufacturing products and method.

The invention relates to the application of packaging components consisting of trays or pallets, which are used as insert, when bottles or cans are stacked.

Moreover, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing products, which can fully or partially enclose a volume or forms growth base for plants.

Packaging components are often manufactured from a polymeric material, which is weather-resistant and water-repelling and has a long material lifetime.

Packaging components are for example used for bottles, which typically contain beverages, where the packaging components, after use, are for example destroyed by burning or recycled by remelting. It has been found, however, that there are some drawbacks connected to the destruction including resource and environmental drawbacks, for example consisting of C02 emission to the atmosphere.

US 4050604 A (FLANDERS, RD) describes the application of packaging components for manufacturing products, which can fully enclose a volume.

JP 52-144962 U (UNKNOWN) and JP 52-1449634 (UNKNOWN) describe the application of packaging components for manufacturing products, which can partially enclose a volume.

It is a problem, however, that the mentioned patent documents do not include packaging components consisting of trays or pallets, which are used as insert when bottles or cans are stacked.

It is therefore an object of the invention to find alternative possibilities of application for packaging components, which includes trays and pallets, which are used as insert when bottles or cans are stacked and which reduces the drawbacks of the destruction.

The object of the invention is achieved by an application, of the in the introduction to claim 1 stated type, for manufacturing products, which can fully or partially enclose a volume or forms growth base for plants.

In this way, it thus becomes possible to use, including recycle, packaging components to new alternative products including boxes or containers such as for example fascines, which can thereby be manufactured cheaper than it has hitherto been possible, and the products can be manufactured from recycled components and thereby moreover be resource saving and no CO2 is emitted since the packaging components are not destroyed by burning.

Other appropriate embodiments for the application are stated in claim 2.

The invention, as mentioned, also relates to a method for manufacturing products, which can fully or partially enclose a volume or forms growth base for plants by application of packaging components according to claim 1 or 2.

This method is characterized in that two or more packaging components are assembled with mechanical assembly devices.

It hereby becomes possible to recycle packaging components to new products, which includes boxes and containers, which is optimal in terms of both environment and resources.

The invention will now be explained more fully with reference to the drawings, on which:

Fig. 1 shows packaging components for packaging bottles.

Fig. 2 shows the same configuration with packaging components for bottles, which is also depicted in fig. 1.

Fig. 3 shows application of packaging components for manufacturing a box.

Fig. 4 shows a partially separated box, which is manufactured by application of packaging components.

Fig. 5 shows a section of a container, which is assembled by boxes manufactured from packaging components, as shown in fig. 3 and fig. 4. Fig. 6 shows a section of a fascine manufactured by application of assembled boxes consisting of packaging components, as shown in fig. 3 and fig. 4.

Fig. 7 shows a container manufactured from packaging components, as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2.

Fig. 8 shows assembled packaging components.

Fig. 9 shows assembled packaging components.

Fig. 10 shows a packaging component, which can be used for manufacturing for example a box or a container.

On fig. 1 is with 1 shown two packaging components consisting of so-called trays, which are used for packaging of bottles 2.

The same configuration is shown in fig. 2 where the components, contrary to figure 1 , are partially separated.

Fig. 3 shows a box 3, which is manufactured by application of two packaging components 1 of the same type as depicted in fig. 1 and fig. 2.

The box 3 is, besides from the two packaging components 1 , manufactured by application of mechanical assembly devices including end plates 4 and assembly guys 5.

The attachment between the individual components can be carried out with appropriate design of the individual components such that they in the assembly surfaces are shape complementary and can be assembled with snap lock mechanics or for example by application of assembly fittings such as screws or rivets.

Alternatively, the individual components can be assembled by gluing or by welding. In fig. 4, the box 3 is seen partially separated.

In fig. 5 is shown how several boxes 3, as depicted on fig. 3 and fig. 4, can be assembled to a larger box or container 6. Fig. 6 shows a fascine, which is manufactured by application of a container 6, which as shown in fig. 5 is assembled by several smaller boxes 3, which include a number of packaging components 1.

In fig. 7 is depicted a container 7, which is manufactured by combination of a number of boxes, which consist of packaging components 1, which in one plane is separated by bottles 1 , which are thus a part of the container 7 and which can be recycled bottles including ones manufactured from a polymeric material.

Fig. 8 shows a box manufactured by combination of three packaging components 1.

Fig. 9 shows a box manufactured by combination of nine packaging components 1. In fig. 10 is depicted a packaging component 10, which is suited for application to products, which can fully or partially enclose a volume such as boxes and containers.

In a preferred embodiment, packaging components are used including recycled packaging components as growth base for plants such as for gardens including urban gardens.
