Abstract:

An application of a polyamide 5X as a flame-retardant material. The polyamide 5X exhibits excellent flame retardance when used as the flame-retardant material, and is also environmentally and physiologically safe. The polyamide 5X is also compatible with various high-molecular-weight textiles, does not negatively impact the aesthetic and textural quality of the textile, and is resistant to general washing and rinsing. A flame-retardant material made using the polyamide 5X can endure additional washes without reduced flame retardance, and thus can be regarded as a permanently flame-retardant material.
