Title:
APPLICATION OF POLYINOSINIC ACID AND SARS-COV-2 SPIKE PROTEIN IN CONSTRUCTION OF MOUSE ARDS MODEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/244235
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of biological medicine, and relates to an application of polyinosinic acid and SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in the construction of a mouse ARDS model. The model may be used for lung inflammation research and drug research and development. The preset invention verifies that in an animal model, polyinosinic acid and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein may cause acute lung injury of a mouse, may simulate acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) symptoms, and may effectively induce neutrophils to infiltrate into the lung and activate. Induction of polyinosinic acid and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein induces tissue injury caused by the neutrophils, and an obvious inflammatory reaction induction effect exists. The polyinosinic acid and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein may be further applied to research and development of a treatment drug for ARDS caused by viral pulmonary infection.
