Abstract:

Provided is an applicator suitable as a cosmetic applicator for applying eyeliner, eye shadow, and the like, around the eyes, said applicator, which is suitable for cosmetics and the like, being configured so as to be able to discharge photoluminescent materials such as glitter having large particle diameters. The applicator is provided with a delivery apparatus for delivering an internal solution to an application part (30), for example, and the shape of an internal solution discharge section (32) of the application part (30) is configured to be elliptical or square, and the dimension of the minor axis on the discharge section side is configured to be 0.5 to 2 mm, while the dimension of the major axis is configured to be 2 to 8 mm. With the applicator, particles with large diameters can be discharged by expanding the inner diameter of the application part, and thin lines can be drawn in the minor axis direction and thick lines can be drawn in the major axis direction by selecting an elliptical-shaped application part. In addition, by attaching a small-diameter protrusion (36) to the applicator tip, lines can be extended, and a liquid cosmetic stored inside the protuberance (36) can be retained.
