Abstract:
Provided is an applicator with which the uneven application of an ointment onto the scalp can be prevented, and with which the scalp can be easily massaged. The applicator is for applying an ointment and comprises: a comb tooth base; first comb teeth erected on the comb tooth base; and second comb teeth erected on the comb tooth base. Each first comb tooth includes: a teardrop-shaped first tip section; and a flexible first body section that is provided continuously with the first tip section and that deflects when the first tip section contacts the skin. Each second comb tooth includes: a teardrop-shaped second tip section that is provided with a discharge opening for discharging the ointment; a flexible second body section that is provided continuously with the second tip section and that deflects when the second tip section contacts the skin; and a supply passage that is provided inside the second body section and that supplies the ointment to the discharge opening.
