Abstract:
Provided are an aqueous additive solution for ink compositions, an aqueous colorant solution for ink compositions, and an ink composition which have excellent storage stability, an ink composition for ink-jet recording which comprises said ink composition, and an ink-jet recording method in which the ink composition for ink-jet recording is used. These are: an aqueous additive solution for ink compositions which comprises a compound represented by the general formula (A) given in the description, a compound represented by the general formula (II), and water; an aqueous colorant solution for ink compositions; an ink composition; an ink composition for ink-jet recording which comprises said ink composition; and an ink-jet recording method in which the ink composition for ink-jet recording is used.
