Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an aqueous binder that is for an inorganic fiber heat-insulating and sound-absorbing material, and that contains a polymer having a carboxy group and a cross-linking agent for said polymer. The cross-linking agent contains an alkanol monoamine and a polyamine having an imino group. The polyamine has an amine value of 1200-1650 mgKOH/g. The ratio of the total mole number of imino groups and amino groups in the cross-linking agent with respect to the total mole number of hydroxyl groups, amino groups, and imino groups in the cross-linking agent is 0.6 or less.
