Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an aqueous coating composition which has good coating workability and good finish appearance. The present invention relates to an aqueous coating composition which contains (I) an aqueous base material and (II) a water-dispersible curing agent, and which is configured such that: the aqueous base material (I) contains (A) an aqueous hydroxyl group-containing resin dispersion; the water-dispersible curing agent (II) contains (B) a water-dispersible polyisocyanate; and the aqueous hydroxyl group-containing resin dispersion (A) contains (A1) an acrylic resin dispersion and (A2) an acrylic resin emulsion that has a hydrophobic linear alkyl group having 4-6 carbon atoms, a branched alkyl group or an alicyclic alkyl group.
