Abstract:
Disclosed is an aqueous composition to be contained in a container, which can keep an excellent inhibitory effect on the transpiration of a water content even when an alkali metal salt or the like is contained in the aqueous composition, and which has excellent long-term stability.
Specifically disclosed is an aqueous composition to be contained in a container, which comprises the following components (A) to (D): (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl or alkenyl ether in which an alkyl group or an alkenyl group has 20 to 24 carbon atoms and the average number of moles of ethylene oxide moieties added is 1.5 to 4; (B) a water-soluble polymer; (C) a nonionic surfactant having an ethyleneoxide group (which is different from the component (A)); and (D) water.
