Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous dispersion of polyurethane resin having exceptional adhesiveness to a wide variety of films, it being possible to obtain a coating film free of cissing and coating irregularities using the aqueous dispersion. An aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane resin and a specific acetylene compound, wherein the polyurethane resin in the aqueous dispersion has an acid value of 12.5-81.0 (KOH mg/g), and is obtained by cross-linking a urethane prepolymer having isocyanate groups at the ends, the urethane prepolymer having, as structural components: from 35 to less than 70 wt% of a polyester glycol that has as structural components an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, and a branched glycol; a polyol having three or more hydroxyl groups; an organic diisocyanate; and a chain extender having free carboxyl groups, the cross-linking being carried out using water in the presence of a neutralizer in a molar amount of 0.4-0.8 relative to the chain extender having free carboxyl groups.
