Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous emulsion that contains a polymer block (a) comprising a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound, and a polymer block (b) containing 1-100 mass% of a farnesene-derived structural unit (b1) and containing 99-0 mass% of a structural unit (b2) derived from a non-farnesene conjugated diene, and includes a block copolymer (I) in which the mass ratio [(a)/(b)] of a polymer block (a) to a polymer block (b) is 5/95-70/30, a protective colloid (II), and water, wherein the content of the protective colloid (II) in relation to 100 parts by mass of the block copolymer (I) is 3-35 parts by mass.
