Abstract:
An aqueous ink composition which contains an aqueous medium and resin fine particles, and wherein a polymer that constitutes the resin comprises the components [a]-[c] described below and the content ratios of the components [a] and [c] in the polymer are within specific ranges, while the weight average molecular weight of the polymer being 80,000 or more; an ink set; an image forming method; and resin fine particles for inks.
[a] A constituent component of general formula (1) or (2). In the formulae, each of R1 and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms; A1 represents -O- or -NR3-; R3 represents a specific group; A2 represents a single bond, -COO- or -CONH-; each of L1 and L2 represents a divalent linking group having a specific chain length; and each of M1 and M2 represents a hydrogen atom or a specific ion.
[b] A specific constituent component having an aromatic ring or an alicyclic ring.
[c] An alkyl (meth)acrylate ester component having a specific chain length.
