Abstract:
Provided are: an aqueous ink precursor composition for a latent image, the aqueous ink precursor composition making it possible to print a latent image that is difficult to see under visible light irradiation and is made visible by UV irradiation; a method for producing the aqueous ink precursor composition; and an aqueous ink composition for a latent image. This aqueous ink precursor composition for a latent image has optical transparency in the visible light region, wherein: the aqueous ink precursor composition for a latent image is edible, and contains at least a solvent and an invisible coloring material that has optical transparency in the visible light region; and the invisible coloring material is a wax and/or an oil having light absorbency for UV rays in the wavelength range of 100-400 nm.
