Abstract:
Disclosed is an aqueous lubricating coating agent for metal material plasticity processing, having excellent lubricity during cold forge processing, and having a residue jam resisting capacity whereby the amount of peeling of the lubricating coating is small, and the peeled lubricating coating is not easily deposited on a mold. Said coating agent contains a water soluble inorganic salt (A) and a Nε- monoacyl basic amino acid (B), and is characterised by a solid content ratio (B)/(A) in the range 0.05-1.30. Also disclosed is a metal with said coating agent formed on the surface thereof.
