Abstract:
(Problem) Provided is an aqueous painting material composition that does not undergo bleeding or dissolution of the paint film even when water droplets adhere to the dried paint film, and has resistance to wetting by water to such an extent that the base coat does not move even when overpainted on the paint film of a base coat, in the same way as conventional emulsion paints, that nevertheless can be removed by washing with water even when it has long been adhered to and dried on a palette or paint brush. (Solution) Provided is an aqueous painting material composition containing water, coloring pigment, and water-soluble resin and resin emulsion containing hydroxyalkyl cellulose and water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin, characterized in that the water-soluble styrene-acrylic resin is contained within a range of 0.5-6.5 wt% calculated for styrene-acrylic resin and the resin emulsion is contained within a range of from 0.1 wt% to less than 5 wt% in terms of solid content.
