Abstract:
The present invention pertains to [1] an aqueous pigment dispersion containing crosslinked polymer particles including a pigment, wherein a crosslinked polymer contained in the particles is a polymer crosslinked by a compound represented by general formula (1), and the pigment is carbon black, and [2] a method for producing an aqueous pigment dispersion containing crosslinked polymer particles including a pigment, the method comprising: a step (1) for subjecting a pigment mixture containing a water-dispersible polymer, a pigment, and water to a dispersion treatment, to obtain an aqueous pigment dispersion containing polymer particles including the pigment, and a step (2) for mixing the aqueous pigment dispersion obtained in step (1) with the compound represented by general formula (1), to allow the water-dispersible polymer to react with the compound and thereby form a crosslinked polymer, and thereby obtaining the aqueous pigment dispersion containing the crosslinked polymer particles including the pigment.
