Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous dispersion composition which contains one or more carboxylated water-soluble copolymers in a relatively high concentration and, despite this, retains the intact handleability. More specifically, the composition contains 4-8 mass% copolymer(s) obtained by polymerization in the presence of, for example, a nonionic surfactant having a polyoxyethylene chain, the copolymers being at least one copolymer selected from the group consisting of (1) copolymers obtained by polymerizing the following (i) and (ii), (2) copolymers obtained by polymerizing the following (i) and (iii), and (3) copolymers obtained by polymerizing the following (i), (ii), and (iii). (i) (Meth)acrylic acid, 100 parts by mass (ii) A compound having two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups, 0.001-1 part by mass (iii) An alkyl (meth)acrylate in which the alkyl group has 10-30 carbon atoms, 0.5-5 parts by mass
