Title:
AQUEOUS POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE DISPERSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/097141
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion which has excellent mechanical stability and does not easily foam. The aqueous polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion contains: 15-70 mass% of polytetrafluoroethylene particles having an average primary particle size of 0.1-0.5 µm; 0.1-20,000 ppm of a fluorine-containing emulsifier, selected from among a C4-7 fluorine-containing carboxylic acid, which may have an etheric oxygen atom, and a salt thereof, with respect to the mass of the polytetrafluoroethylene particles; 1-20 parts by mass of a nonionic surfactant, represented by R1-O-A-H (R1 is a C8-18 alkyl group, and A is a polyoxyalkylene chain), with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polytetrafluoroethylene particles; 0.15-3 parts by mass of a polyether polysiloxane copolymer with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polytetrafluoroethylene particles; and water.
