Title:
AQUEOUS POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE DISPERSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/199034
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous PTFE dispersion which has excellent mechanical stability, while being not susceptible to lathering. An aqueous polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion which is characterized by containing: 15-70% by mass of PTFE particles that have an average primary particle diameter of 0.1-0.5 μm; a fluorine-containing emulsifying agent, which is selected from among fluorine-containing carboxylic acids having 4-7 carbon atoms and optionally having an ether oxygen atom and salts of the fluorine-containing carboxylic acids, in an amount of 0.1-20,000 ppm relative to the PTFE particles; a nonionic surfactant represented by formula R1-O-A-H (wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 8-18 carbon atoms and A represents a polyoxyalkylene chain) in an amount of 1-20 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the PTFE particles; a polyether polysiloxane copolymer, in which polyether chains are composed only of polyoxypropylene groups, in an amount of 0.004-0.040 part by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the PTFE particles; and water.
