Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of obtaining an aqueous primer which has excellent storage stability, and which can form a printing layer which has high adhesion and which enables formation of high image quality in which bleeding/unevenness is suppressed, and which has excellent water resistance and laminate suitability when a printing layer is formed by printing an image, character, or the like with an ink composition for inkjet recording on a plastic film or other non-absorbent media. The present invention solves the abovementioned problem by: providing an aqueous primer composition including a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt, a polyester-based polyurethane emulsion, and water; providing a set including the aqueous primer composition and an inkjet recording ink composition; and providing a printed matter including a substrate layer, a primer layer including a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt and a polyester-based polyurethane, and a printing layer.
