Abstract:
Provided are: an aqueous resin dispersion for producing an aqueous coating material with which excellent adhesion to a polyolefin substrate such as a polypropylene substrate can be easily achieved and which can be baked at a low temperature; and an aqueous coating material and adhesive containing the aqueous resin dispersion. This aqueous resin dispersion is an aqueous resin dispersion (C) obtained by dispersing, in an aqueous medium, an olefin-based polymer (A) and a polymer (B) containing constituent units derived from a radical-polymerizable monomer (b1) containing a reactive functional group. The median diameter of the aqueous resin dispersion (C), as measured using a dynamic light-scattering method, is 300 nm or less, and the content of tetrahydrofuran-insoluble components (D) in a dried product of the aqueous resin dispersion (C) is 1 mass% or more.
