Abstract:
An aqueous tar solution which is prepared by admixing 100 g of a tar with 10 to 50 g of a 10 to 50 % solution of NaOH to provide processed tar, and then admixing 10 to 20 g of the processed tar with 100 g of a 2 to 5 % solution of NaOH to prepare an aqueous tar solution&semi and a tar−containing coating which is prepared by admixing an aqueous coating containing a resin as a primary component and a charcoal powder with tar and a NaOH solution to thereby incorporate an aqueous tar solution into the aqueous coating. The aqueous tar solution has a tar dissolved into a liquid, and thus is free from separation or deposition and excellent in stability&semi and the tar−containing coating exhibits high rotproof and termite−proofing effects.
