Abstract:
A water-resistant coating material which contains at least the following components (A)-(D).
(A) a vinyl copolymer (a) obtained from a raw material which contains a vinyl monomer (a) containing at least one carbonyl group (provided that the carbonyl group moiety is not a carboxyl group, a carbamoyl group or an ester group), and another copolymerizable vinyl monomer (b) having a carboxyl group
(B) a neutralizing agent containing a water-soluble organic amine having 1-6 carbon atoms
(C) a hydrazide derivative having two or more hydrazide groups, or another hydrazide derivative which is obtained by protecting the hydrazide groups of the above-described hydrazide derivative with a low-molecular-weight carbonyl compound
(D) an aqueous medium
