Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel method of piloting a vessel, and an AR piloting system capable of making it intuitively easier to set a target location or orientation. [Solution] This AR piloting system is provided with: a generation unit for generating an image including a vessel object representing a vessel in a region corresponding to a viewpoint position and gaze direction; a display unit for performing superimposed display, on the scenery surrounding the region corresponding to the viewpoint position and gaze direction, the image including the vessel object; a detection unit for detecting manipulation of the displayed vessel object; and a steering unit that is used to pilot the vessel and that executes an operation corresponding to the manipulation of the vessel object.
