Abstract:
According to the feature of the present invention, provided is an Arabic alphabet input device for inputting Arabic alphabets including Arabic, Farsi, and Urdu, comprising: a keypad (110) for outputting each character input signal according to an operation of a user, wherein representative characters, which include common character portions commonly included in each of Arabic characters in a character group grouped on the basis of a stroke commonly included in each Arabic alphabet among all Arabic alphabets, are arranged in a preset representative character region (111), and a plurality of subscripts, which form various derivative characters when attached to one side of each representative character, are arranged in a preset subscript region (112); a control unit (120) for outputting a display control signal for independently displaying a selected representative character or displaying derivative characters in which the selected representative character and subscripts are combined, according to an inputted character input signal; and a display (130) for displaying each Arabic character on a screen (131) according to the display control signal of the control unit (120).
