Abstract:
The present invention relates to viral infection inhibitor containing, as an active ingredient, a ginsenoside derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. A ginsenoside derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, according to the present invention, inhibits an intracellular arbovirus genome, reduces an arbovirus protein, and also exhibits an effect of protecting cell death caused by the arbovirus, thereby being effectively useful in the prevention, alleviation or treatment of an arbovirus infection.
