Abstract:
An arc detection system (100) comprises a first acquisition unit (11), a second acquisition unit (12), and a determination unit (13). The first acquisition unit (11) acquires the results of measuring: the current (I1) flowing through a power feeding path (L1) to which power is supplied from a power supply (2); or of the voltage (V1) in the feeding path (L1). The second acquisition unit (12) performs power line communication, via the power feeding path (L1), with a device (3) connected to the power feeding path (L1) , thereby acquiring quality information relating to the quality of communication with the device (3). The determination unit (13) determines whether an arc fault has occurred in the power feeding line (L1) on the basis of a specific frequency band component of the measurement results acquired by the first acquisition unit (11) and the quality information acquired by the second acquisition unit (12).
