Abstract:
An arc extinguishing magnetic circuit and a direct current relay thereof. The arc extinguishing magnetic circuit comprises two contact points (11 and 12) electrically connected via movable spring pieces and capable of implementing contact with or separation from same and two arc blow components (21 and 22). The arc blow components are constituted correspondingly by a piece of magnetic steel (3) and an L-shaped yoke clamp (4). A polarized surface of the magnetic steel is affixed to the inside of either side of the L-shaped yoke clamp, thus allowing the L-shaped yoke clamp to form between the inside of one side and the inside of the other side a magnetic field in which magnetic field lines are distributed in fan-shaped directions. The two arc blow components respectively are mounted correspondingly around either contact point, and allow the magnetic field lines of the magnetic field in the fan-shaped directions of each arc blow component to pass through the center of the corresponding contact point, thus forming at the corresponding contact point one magnetic blow force in a direction at an angle to the line connecting the two contact points. The arc extinguishing magnetic circuit and the direct current relay thereof are structurally simple, inexpensive, and great in arc blow effects and implement nonpolar connection for a circuit.
