Abstract:
Provided are area unit photovoltaic power generation amount estimation device and method capable of highly frequently estimating a photovoltaic output without requiring to stop a photovoltaic device on the demand side. The device is provided with: a short period PQ measurement information acquiring function for acquiring active power and reactive power at an information input point in a short period; a long period area unit photovoltaic output estimation function for obtaining, in a long period, the amounts of active and reactive powers generated by the photovoltaic generation in an electrical downstream side region at an information input point of a transmission and distribution system from the amount of insolation in an area where the electrical downstream side region is arranged; a photovoltaic generation stop time output calculation function for calculating active power and reactive power in a photovoltaic generation stop time from the amounts of multiple active and reactive powers generated by the photovoltaic generation, which are obtained by the long period area unit photovoltaic output estimation function, and the active and reactive powers obtained by the short period PQ measurement information acquiring function; and a short period area unit photovoltaic output estimation function for deriving load characteristics representing the relationship between the active and reactive powers obtained by the photovoltaic generation stop time output calculation function and estimating the amount of power generated by the photovoltaic generation from the active and reactive powers obtained by the short period PQ measurement information acquiring function.
