Abstract:
An arginase-activity measuring method according to the present invention is characterized in that the method includes: a step for activating arginase by adding a sample containing arginase and a solution containing divalent cation to a reaction vessel; a step for performing an enzyme-substrate reaction by adding an arginine solution to the sample containing the activated arginase; and a step for simultaneously performing enzyme deactivation, as well as urea-detection reaction, by adding an acidic solution that has a pH of 1.0-4.0 and that contains a urea-detection reagent to the sample in which the enzyme-substrate reaction has been performed.
