An arm insertion type manometer having enhanced operability and visibility at the time of measurement. A remote control unit can be detached from the manometer body section and operated wirelessly. The arm insertion type manometer comprises a manometer body section (10) provided with an arm band (2) through which an upper arm is inserted, and a remote control unit (40) capable of controlling the manometer body section (10) remotely. The remote control unit (40) can be fixed removably to a holding section (5) of the manometer body section (10) and has an operating section for operating the manometer body section (10), and a display section for displaying the result of measurement. In a state where the remote control unit (40) is placed in the holding section (5), the remote control unit (40) operates the manometer body (10) by performing wired or wireless communication therewith. In a state where the remote control unit (40) is not placed in the holding section (5), the remote control unit (40) operates the manometer body (10) by performing wireless communication therewith.
