Abstract:
Disclosed is a lightweight armrest that can be manufactured at low cost and has a simple structure that can prevent clothing, fingers, and the like from getting caught. Said armrest has a core plate (10), which is provided inside a cover member (30), and a rotation-range restriction member (20), which is affixed to a side of a seat-back part (110). The core plate (10) provides the strength that the armrest (1) requires, and inside the cover member (30), abuts against a bottom stopper (22a) or top stopper (22b) of the rotation-range restriction member (20). Attaching the rotation-range restriction member (20) to the side of the seat-back part (110) makes it possible to contain the bottom stopper (22a) and top stopper (22b) inside the cover member (30), making it possible, with a simple structure, to take measures against clothing, fingers, and the like getting caught.
