Abstract:
This aroma display causes, in accordance with various situations and times, an aroma appropriate to a relevant situation and time to be generated with an easy operation. This aroma display includes: a message reception unit 180 for receiving a message from the outside; a correspondence relationship storage unit that stores a corresponding relationship between an event name of an event and aroma information relating to an aroma to be generated at the event; an event information extraction unit 182 that extracts, from the message received by the message reception unit 180, event information including the event name and time information relating to the event; aroma information reading units 185, 186 that read the aroma information corresponding to the event name from the correspondence relationship storage unit; and an aroma generation unit 194 that generates an aroma in accordance with the aroma information read by the aroma information reading units 185, 186.
