Abstract:
This invention provides an aromatic amine derivative having a specific structure having a carbazole skeleton to which a diarylamino group has been attached through a linking group. There is also provided an organic electroluminescent element comprising an organic thin-film layer, comprising at least a luminescent layer, held between a cathode and an anode. The organic thin-film layer has a single layer structure or a multilayer structure of two or more layers. At least one layer constituting the organic thin-film layer contains the aromatic amine derivative as a single component constituting the layer or one component constituting a mixture of a plurality of components constituting the layer. According to the above constitution, an organic electroluminescent element having a high luminescence efficiency can be provided.
