This aromatic composition contains a compound represented by formula (1) (in the formula, R1,R2, and R3 independently represent hydrogen or a methyl group, X represents an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, R4 and R5 independently represent hydrogen or a -CHO group, and AA represents a single bond or a double bond), and has superior fragrance and fragrance sustainability useful as a raw material to be used in a blended aromatic.
