Abstract:
The invention provides an aromatic polyamide microporous membrane, and a preparation method and use thereof. The method comprises: A. preparing a membrane casting solution: mixing an aromatic polyamide, a solvent, an optional pore-forming agent and an optional adjuvant evenly to obtain the membrane casting solution; B. extruding and stretching: extruding the membrane casting solution of step A from an extruder to obtain a membrane casting sheet, immersing the membrane casting sheet into a first coagulating bath, and stretching the membrane casting sheet in the first coagulating bath; C. coagulating: immersing the stretched membrane casting sheet into a second coagulating bath for coagulation; and D. drying: performing drying treatment on the coagulated aromatic polyamide microporous membrane of step C to obtain the aromatic polyamide microporous membrane. The aromatic polyamide microporous membrane has favorable air permeability and mechanical properties, and good high-temperature resistance, and meets lithium ion battery diaphragm pore diameter requirements. The preparation method is simple, and low in preparation cost. The aromatic polyamide microporous membrane of the invention can be widely applied in the manufacture of various lithium ion batteries.
