Abstract:
Polyesters capable of giving moldings having excellent flowability, heat resistance, and mechanical properties. The polyesters are prepared by copolymerizing a specific amount of a polyester comprising p-hydroxybenzoic acid, 4,4'-dihydroxybiphenyl or hydroquinone and terephthalic acid or both terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid with a specific amount of a specific dihydroxy compound such as t-butylhydroquinone, phenylhydroquinone or the like.
