Abstract:
Provided are a novel aromatic polyether ketone and aromatic polyether ketone precursor monomer that are characterized by comprising a repeat unit represented by belowmentioned structural formula (1), and a method for producing the aromatic polyether ketone and aromatic polyether ketone precursor monomer. In structural formula (1), X is benzophenone or a dibenzoyl aromatic compound, and in said dibenzoyl aromatic compound, A is an aromatic ring or benzophenone. Y is 1,1'-Bi-2-naphthol or a substituted derivative thereof, or bisphenol fluorene or a substituted derivative thereof. In said substituted derivative, substituent group R is at least one of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkyloxy group, and an aryloxy group. Z is an oxybiphenylene group, a fluorene biphenylene group, an amino biphenylene derivative group, or methyl or an alkyl substituent group thereof.
