Abstract:
In an arousal level judging device (100), a heart beat detecting section (110)
detects the heart beat signal, a heart beat interval computing section (120)
detects the heart beat interval, a spectrum computing section (130) computes
the spectrum density corresponding to the variation of the heart beat interval,
a peak frequency computing section (140) computes a local maximum frequency
and a local maximum spectrum density corresponding to the local maximum frequency,
and an arousal level judging section (170) judges whether the subject is in an
arousal state on the basis of the variation tendencies of the local maximum frequency
and the local maximum spectrum density.
