Abstract:
A laser projection device, comprising: a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) array comprising a plurality of VCSELs (202) and used for emitting light beams; a microlens array comprising a plurality of microlens units (204) having a consistent number with and having one-to-one correspondence to the VCSELs (202) and used for receiving and diverging the light beams emitted by the VCSELs (202) corresponding thereto; a main lens (205) used for receiving and converging the light beams diverged by the microlens array; and a pattern generating optical element used for receiving the light beams converged by the main lens (205) and outward emitting a plurality of light beams which is at least partially overlapped. A depth camera (101) is also provided on the basis of the laser projection device. By means of reasonable layout and design, the microlens array and the main lens (205) form a secondary imaging optical path so as to achieve a lower amplification factor and a smaller volume, such that for the laser projection device and the depth camera (101), the volume can be decreased and the imaging quality can be improved.
