An array substrate and a display device. The array substrate comprises multiple signal lines (40), multiple connecting lines (50) and a driving module (60) that are in a peripheral region (1) excluding a display region (2). The connecting lines (50) are used for connecting the signal lines (40) to the driving module (60) and transmitting signals from the signal lines (40) to the driving module (60). At least one connecting line (50) and at least one signal line (40) are designed to be intersected with and insulated from each other in a first region (N). The at least one signal line (40) comprises a first electrode line layer (401) and a second electrode line layer (402) in a second region (O) excluding the first region (N), and comprises the first electrode line layer (401) but does not comprise the second electrode line layer (402) in the first region (N). The array substrate can avoid the problem of static accumulation or short circuit between the connecting lines (50) and the second electrode line layer (402).
