Abstract:
An array substrate and a display panel. The array substrate comprises a substrate (1); a first metal layer (20), comprising a plurality of parallel cathode lines (21) provided at intervals and extending in an X-axis direction; a first insulating layer (30), provided on the first metal layer (20); and a second metal layer (40), provided on the first insulating layer (30) and comprising a VSS metal block (40), wherein the VSS metal block (41) comprise one first VSS metal block (411) extending in a Y-axis direction and a plurality of second VSS metal blocks (412) connected to the first VSS metal block (411) and provided at intervals, and the projection of each second VSS metal block (412) on the first metal layer (20) is located in a gap between every two adjacent cathode lines (21). The second VSS metal blocks (412) of the VSS metal block (41) are staggered from the cathode lines (21), so that the overlapping area between the first metal layer (20) and the second metal layer (40) is reduced, the short circuit caused by breakdown of the first metal layer (20) and the second metal layer (40) can be avoided, and the display effect can be improved.
